switch10 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2013 I'm almost all tied up, but I was wondering if anyone would be opposed to me switching flies. The ones I picked are kind of area specific (Crowley Lake, CA). I would like to tie something that will catch fish anywhere.... I was thinking a size #16 BH pheasant tail to a size #20-22 RS2 emerger?? Would that be OK with everyone?

Jimboha! 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2013 Alrighty, I mailed mine out today, and the post office guy said they should arrive on Saturday. Thanks for hosting and co-hosting! Yep, they came today! Got your flies - some more nice ones. I especially like the legs on your Jimmie Legs Stonefly - what material is that? Also, my flies are done. Got addy? ( I crack myself up.) Li'lDave, It looks like this co-hosting is working - flies are coming here! Jimboha!
Travis Bille 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2013 Thank you kindly! It's called life flex, I pretty much get it specifically for the Jimmy Legs. I think the knots give it a lot of movement. I'm pretty confident in that pattern
Jimboha! 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2013 Yeah, I do like the way they look, and especially that they can stand up and not droop. I'm working on a salmonfly pattern - those stonelfies are all body and legs - and my legs look OK, but not quite right. I'll look for some of that leg material (or is it leveraged from something else?) Jimboha!
