Well the snow piled up here the past few days. At least when it does start to melt it will put some steelhead in the rivers.

Here's a box i just finished up. About ~110 flies set to go for the trout opener. I'd say about another couple hundred oughtta do it for the seaon...

With March swap club being the dry fly month I went back in time to one of my dad's favorite flies and a fly I had to learn to tie before I was allowed to fish with him. I give you the mosquito mayfly.

Thank you its actually a simple tie it uses moose mane for tail and then wrapped for body light brown hen tips for wings and grizzly hackle

What is that iridescent green that you used? It looks very like peacock. Zooming in is it blue eared pheasant? Very good glow from it.
