Tail: Lemon colored wood duck side feather fibers
Body: Oxford gray yarn with a yellow yarn belly stripe
Hackle: Grizzly, stripped on one side

One of the participants in the 2015 Jackson Hole One Fly. Not the winner but a cool fly; basic, simple construction (they probably tie theirs with Flymaster Plus 210 and Super Glue).

 

hook - Dai Riki 300 #14

thread - Danville 6/0 purple

shuck - Congo Hair brown

body - Ice Dub purple

wing - Congo Hair white

hackle - grizzly

Cranked out a few tiny deer hair bugs yesterday.

Fish have been hitting a white and chartreuse spinner bait, so I wanted to give them a fly in the same color palate. Seven inches long on a 5/0 hook.
