May Flies From The Vise

Recommended Posts

Thanks. Was playing with fox tail with no intents till it looked like a gold fish. Used a fish skull bait fish head and eyes on a 4X size 4 streamer hook. Should have painted the head but had nothing orange atm. The body is rolled segments orange then brown and brown on top side only at last tie in point.

Trying out some new frog legs. Swim test looks great! We'll see if the fish agree after work today.

I've been working my way through tying the fifty flies in the book The History of Fly Fishing in Fifty Flies.

Looks like a lot of diverse materials and work but if the time and materials are there why not. 50 flies all different that's a goal

Tom, been surprised by how much material I have amassed. It's been educational and so far enjoyable.

The next 8, about 15 left to go.

Neat project Noahguide when did you start tying them and what are some of your favorites?
