It's been fun dicking around with the pretties; time to get cranking for stupid cutts (first one in a while so you'll have to excuse the stray wrap at the base of the abdomen). #12's tell you if someone's home, #10's weed out the dinks.

thread - MFC 6/0 hot orange

core - 8lb Mason

tail - moose body hair

body/head - 1mm foam orange

wing - Congo Hair white

hackle - grizzly

 

 

 

Deer hair hackle/Jingler(ish) variation

Been tying a Mike George Diver, (alternate colors on bottom), which, is a variation of Dalhberg Diver, fun to tie and will fish well

Been tying a Mike George Diver, (alternate colors on bottom), which, is a variation of Dalhberg Diver, fun to tie and will fish well

 

 

 

I haven't figured out the "trimming " of a diver yet. These we my first couple of attempts a few weeks ago. I goofed them up. Since then I've just went back to regular poppers. Time to get back to tying. Thanks for the motivation.
