Used a trimmed spun-loop for the head on this one; keeping it on the full side since I want to fish it more as a dry.

 

 

hook - WFC Model 6 #6

thread - Danville 6/0 light olive/UTC 140 black (head only)

tail - golden pheasant crest

rib - small wire gold

body - dubbing golden olive/olive/Ice Dub peacock

body hackle - Greenwells

collar - chukar dyed Silver Doctor Blue (2 packs Koolaid Ice Blue Raspberry/1 cup water)

head - deer hair black

A little different look; swapped out GP crest for bleached/dyed pheasant tail and a blue head.

thread - Danville 6/0 light olive/UTC 140 black (head only)

tail - bleached pheasant tail dyed gold (1 Tbs Rit Golden Yellow/1 cup water)

rib - small wire gold

body - dubbing golden olive/olive/Ice Dub peacock

body hackle - Greenwells

collar - chukar dyed Silver Doctor Blue (2 packs Koolaid Ice Blue Raspberry/1 cup water)

head - deer hair dyed Silver Doctor Blue
