February Flies From the Vise

Recommended Posts

Powershooter and his eldest kid are good people.

How about the rest of his kids, are they good people too?smile.png

First: His other child wasn't there.

Second: Probably not. I, generally, can't stand kids. Bo's oldest is more adult, so he's okay.

Flytier, hope all goes well. Although I live in MS, Salmon and Steelhead flies are my favorite, followed by wets. Thanks for posting them.

Micro Game Changer Olive 020920

Kimo

Looking great. Don't forget to do some in obnoxious colors too. I had one I made similar to yours with loads of silver flashabou-like dubbing. The large mouth would not leave it alone.

Nothing like the others artists are posting, but this is my confidence fly. I fish it like a streamer more often than not. Trout and panfish love it.

2 rubber legs, peacock herl and hen hackle

Never thought to use leg material for the tail to add to the flys movement ....what a epiphany.

I will need to include some of these in my box for my next outing.

Light painted the background. Added color correction to light source bringing 3400˚K to 5500˚K.
Also knocked back the intensity of the lamp 1-stop by adding a ND filter over the light source.
