  1. Yeah pretty much the same as the low fat minnow, used Gamakatsu Finesse wide gap # 2 hooks and subbed out materials to make it work. Link to tying video from the originator of the pattern:
  2. They are pre made, Fish Skull-Fish Masks.
  3. Some PT nymphs for a trip next month. Introducing some guys to fly fishing.
  4. The big one stands about 6 feet tall and is one piece, it is over 100 years old. There are check out sheets in the bottom of the drawers that have dates written on them back to 1906. It was some sort of letter file cabinet.
  5. Glad you received them, I work in the Oilfield and had to go to the field a couple of times, sorry for the delay.
  6. Trying new twist and came up with this: Hook: TMC 5263 size 10 Tail: Ostrich Hearl, Crystal Flash Body: Dubbing Loop with Cream Angora Goat (Cream) Dubbing Loop with Baby Legs Alive (Grey) (make sure and pick out Angora while wrapping this over the top of it) Collar: Mallard Flank Wood Duck (Gold) SLF Dark Stone Dubbing
  7. Lightning strike hooks by Wapsi has some of the better Multi packs that I have seen. The link below will take you to one place that I have found them. There are other places that carry these I think. I am in agreement that this should be something that is more readily available. Chicago Flyfishing Outfitters
  8. Mine went in the mail today.
  9. I'm in with #16 Poxyback PMD, not "easy" for me but I have been working on them.
  10. Anyone have any experience with Hook and Hackle's house brand hooks?
  11. If you are talking about kits with just materials and instruction, no tools, I would recommend any of the kits from Kaufmann Streamborn. They are pricey bit you get alot of material and excellent books to go with it.
  12. Gah, I thought I was missing a US link to Fly 2000. Bummer, I will try and contact them tomorrow then.
  13. Does anyone have a link to the Mustad software site. I can't find it for the life of me. Or a link to some good software that will run on Vista.
