  1. I’m in! And I’ll tie up some rusty trombones.
  2. Great swap idea. I’ll jump in and take the norm woods special!
  3. Very saddened to hear this news this morning. Kims excitement and lighthearted attitude towards fly tying, fly fishing and life in general will be sorely missed. Rest easy and tight lines.
  4. Hi Kim, As long as your address hasn’t changed in the last few months I have it saved in my address book.
  5. I’m in - some type of cicada pattern. Need to find one I like.
  6. Mine are going in the Mail this weekend!
  7. This is great! Thanks for hosting this swap. What a great way to see how fly fishing can mean so much in so many different ways!
  8. Flies are in the mail. Should arrive by the 2nd or 3rd. Thanks for hosting! tracking info: 9405509205568141096726
  9. I’d love to get in on this one. You can never have too many buggers! I’ll be doing a Thin Mint!
  10. I have some Griffiths gnats I’ll be sending out this week.
  11. Cencalfly I hope you are in the mend soon! Thanks for hosting Bob. Please keep or give away any extra flies that I sent.
  12. I’ve really taken to liking pirateship for sending all my flies. I’ve ran into more than one postal worker that made me feel like it was among the most complicated question to ask if the could tell me what return postage would cost. I ship all my flies in 6x9 bubble mailers, put the weight in as 5 ounces ( which is overkill) and usually put the date on the return postage for a few days out. I haven’t run into any issues with it so far and it’s saved me quite a few akward trips to the post office. Also has the added bonus of being able to see when your flies are going to land.
  13. Flies are going in the mail on Monday! I’ll send tracking info once they are shipped.
  14. I was fortunate enough to get to watch a tying demonstration by Duane Redford today. He tied up some great patterns and mentioned one of his really deadly ones called a Butt Crack Baetis. I looked into it and looks like a trout magnet. I’ll be trying my hand at those for the swap!
  15. I’m in. I’ll be tying a a zonker/Streamer pattern that I don’t really have a name for. I’ve used it with a ton of success on Lake Erie tributaries!
  16. Can’t wait to try these out. Great ties everybody and thanks for hosting Bob!
