  1. Wow... that there is some great tying. Thank you for posting
  2. I HAVE THE SPARTAN AND LOVE IT.. i WOULD GO THIS ROUTE AND ALSO PICK UP THE BOBBIN HOLDER WHILE THEY ARE 20% OFF. AS FOR THE REST OF THE SAVING.. WELL YOU CAN NEVER HAVE TOO MANY MATERIALS
  3. I vote for the HMH... I currenlty have one and love it. I tie anything from size 16 trout flies to 3/0 saltwater without any issues. The holding power of the jaw is awesome, I can bend a 2/0 hook completely in 90degrees without the pedistal lifting off the table. Plus with a 20% discount, it should be a no brainer. my 2 cents
  4. Anyone interested in posted some pics of these beauties
  5. It was in the sewing section where they have some of the crafts What's on the label? It says "creative hands" rainbow foam and its got 50 sheets in it Sweet.. thanks for the info

  10. I would post it under the database but have never done it before, so here is a link to a previous post with the recipe! http://www.flytyingforum.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=353463
  11. Thanks for the compliments... I currently have a D50, I used a basic auto exposure with a white piece of white as a backdrop (I also use scrap frame matting as well). I have an Ott-lite which I used for my main source of lighting. So basically nothing special. I trying something new every time just to see how it turns out. I'm often a pleasantly surprise.
  12. Perfect  Step by step?
  13. +1 on the Cocoons. A little heavy but very functional!
  14. Thanks for the offer.. I just found these those! http://www.akmining.com/cart/vials.htm 2 Ounce Glass Vial This crystal clear glass vial with screw cap is perfect for displaying your gold. 15. I also have a Trex 450 CF R/C helicopter. Still learning to fly, each attempt just seems to get more and more expensive :cursing:
  16. Here she is.... Yup, a good old homebrewing set up. Still in the works but good enough to brew some 200 gallons each years Good beer, bad beer, it doesn't matter... it's all beer
  17. I don't seem to have one of those in my area, but at least I know where search. Thanks
  18. There are no stupid questions I used tan, Japanese nymph legs and then added the colors with waterproof markers. I use a light brown or tan color for the base and then add joints with a dark brown marker. This product is great to work with since it holds a bend without heating. Best, Bruce Thanks Bruce
  19. Nice Videos :clapping: Thank you for taking the time to share!
  20. Sweet beetles  Stupid question though... what did you use for the legs?
  21. Very nice... I use squid on a casting for catching stripers. It would be a blast on my fly rod
  22. Well done... a Maine classic with a pinch of crystal flash
  23. Great imitation you have there  Quick question though... where does one find those collection vials?
  24. Oh for the love of god.... PLEASE post pics of the finished products :help:
