  1. Still need to finish the heads with uv but here's some hairwings: Finally getting good tinsel bodies Got to wrap it really tightly Sorry for the bad pics.
  2. Twin #2 Mustads, white marabou, polar chenille, red flashabou, ice dub head and of course the eyes. This was my first time using the senyo's articulation wire from Hartline. Liking it a lot.
  3. I notice this a lot in articulated streamer flies. Many seem to be wooly bugger variants of some kind. Nothing wrong with that, just an observation.
  4. Damn. I don't post much but I really enjoy reading your posts and watching your videos. All the best.
  5. I actually enjoy the sped up videos with music, and materials flashed in front of the camera. I find them quick and to the point. To each his own I guess.
  6. Andreas Andersson's 'Aino'. I used Loon Hard Head clear for the head and eyes but it doesn't look great and the eyes aren't stuck on well. I'll try one with epoxy and see how it goes. Other than that, I was very happy with how the fly came out.
  7. I love that first one. Reminds me of a maggot fly used after the salmon run here.
  8. Another vote for Lamson. I got a velocity 3.5 for $185 USD about a month ago. Buttery smooth drag. Look on eBay and you can find closeout reels for cheap.
  9. I also think that keeping line off the water is a big advantage. That's why people who float fish for steelhead use 10-15' rods, to keep as much line off the water as possible, and get a near perfect drift.
  10. Awesome flies. Have your ever cut the lively legs with your thread? I'm looking to get some but they look a bit delicate.
  11. 100% barbless for me. Never used them, never will.
  12. Too funny.. It's a baby f*****g weeeeeeel Jay!
  13. Working on a crawfish pattern. I'm happy with it, but it needs more bulk behind the head.
  14. Thanks for the help everyone. This forum is great.
