  1. I dont' think there are a lot of flats in any of those islands to hold a lot of Bonefish. You might find some, but most of the fishing in those areas is offshore fishing.
  2. Tree Trout..I fish for Tree Bass and Tree Bream, all of the time,ha ha. Maybe the furled leader isnt the best route for me.
  3. Did the leader that you used have a tippet ring, or, just a loop on each end?
  4. Has anyone here ever used a Furled Leader? I've been looking into making them, but before I build a jig to make them,I'd like to hear from anyone that has used them. Pros? Cons? Tips?
  5. I dont care what anyone says about the lowly Bluegill. They are, pound for pound tougher than any bass. Imagine if a bluegill grew up to 10 pounds. They would whoop a bass's tailfins. I use a chenille sinking spider and various bead head nymphs. I tied a bunch of Micro Clowsers with rubber legs to try out. My typical set up is a 5 wt with a hopper or popper and use the nymphs as a dropper. Depth of the water will dictate how far under the popper, the dropper will be. Death on Bream. Last weekend, I caught two bass on that Hopper/Dropper rig. That was quite fun!!!
  6. Greta Van Fleet..A Change Is Gonna Come (Remake of a old Sam Cooke song) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XuM1FzIgRxs
  7. That looks like an old pattern I tied years ago called a "Serpent Fly"
  8. What kind of $$ does a rod like this run? Are these fast action rods?
  9. Go to Walgreens and get a couple of pill boxes. They normally have seven compartments that will hold a dozen or more flies per compartment. They are cheap, small and convenient
  10. Photoshop has a function that allows you to change white balance in post production. Thats a pretty handy function if you dont have a gray card.
