Head: 3.8 mm Bead or 7 mm Boobie Eyes

A generic mayfly nymph tied BWO

Hook: tiemco's new 201R 2xl nymph hook size 20

Tail: mallard flank

Abdomen: goose biot dyed BWO

Wingcase: brown Swiss straw.

Thorax: Olive rabbit dubbing

Legs: hun body fibers.

A dab of loon thin UV on the wingcase to finish it off.

Pink Tube Fly, normal and UV light. (I bumped it in the dark and rotated it accidently, so it looks a little different)

2mm pony bead lacing tube

3/8” organza ribbon, one edge stripped and palmered up the body.

Flashabou, metallic jewelry cord deconstructed, and metallic embroidery floss for tail

one sequin reamed out a little bigger as nose cone

Loctite glue 

Clear nylon thread

i think with the addition of eyestalks, it could be a shrimp type creature.  Or without the tail, a tiny pink Christmas tree.  I guess we know what I’m submitting for 2024 Christmas contest.

2 color worm

size 10 hook, chenille color choice, wrap another chenille over hook shank, used estaz here.

originals were tied longer, but these match the size I see falling out of trees here.
