Black widow

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys here is my attemp for an black widow spider ;) . It's tied on hook size 16.

Graham was kind enough to give me the real one so it was much easier to create this when I got the real one in my insect collection on my tying table. Thanks Graham

I thinkyou misquoted yourself!

You said that was your ATTEMPT.

Id hardly call that an attempt Id rather say you perfected it it.

NICE, scares the hell out of me!

Wow, that's a spectacular tie of Lactrodectus mactans. I never understood why people always smash em either.... so what they're venomous, they don't actively seek out to bite people. I've even kept some as "pets" as I've found some beautiful specimens around the house I didn't wan the gf to find and smash. I fed em garden pests of all things too, now those are insects that I hate....

Anyways, beautiful tie!!

Jeff
