Spey Flies

Recommended Posts

Hi

Here are some spey flies I tied Yesterday

The Blue and Green Spey is a color combo I have never tried

Has anyone ever tried this combo for steelhead?

Geez ...... those are SMOKIN' !!!!!

All three are stunning ....... however the last one really caught my eye

I'm sure the blue/green colour scheme would do very well .... not a popular combination , but that too gives it an edge !! What I'm saying is .... a Steelhead can only look at so many black or orange Spey's swim by before it gets disinterested ....... agree ??

Thanks for sharing !!

Hi Redside

Beautifull flies. They all look fishy. The Blue and Green is great. What did you use for hackle ?

Regards

Jens

Good Day,

Got to agree with the others, lovely work there. It is a fairly well known fact that steelhead are partial to blue. So I don't see why it wouldn't work... best you go and fish it to be certain...
