'The Barettos are in their 50's folks, they are middleaged married couple who HAVE NO KIDS. this is a grown man and wife who operate a business out of their home. He doesnt think were talking to a kid when we phoned them. Now HE the police cheif said he is well aware of who they are, where they live and that the town is small, so he is confident in what he has told us." Russ of V.O.W.T These two paragraphs are from the Taxidermy.net website.................I would say to all that you should spend a few minutes.....or an hour or so to read up what has been going on...........I would bet I spent about 2 hours trying to understand what was going on over there and why there was an apology on here..................and what potentially might be going on here............. whoever on taxidermy site running the scam ended up using 3 user names to try scam folks.......then cover up.....backtrack....it was a mess............ but the addresses match up............what a mess I'm not saying anyone is guilty of anything........being a retired officer and all..........but this might prove to be quite a mess....some stuff just does not add up............you guys are going to have fun figuring this mess out...hopefully checking out IP addresses might settle it quickly........just match them up to the bad guy from the taxidermy site........ here is the most current link to get updated............... http://www.taxidermy.net/forum/index.php/topic,130416.0.html Innocent until proven guilty. flykid 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2009 In my opinion Airedale here has to be a kid. I am a friend on myspace with him and I got his address throught this site. On his myspace are many pictures of him and his friends. If it was a middle aged man he would have had to go through lots and lots of hassle to create a myspace with pictures of friends and a child that he called himself. Not that it couldn't be done but it seems very authentic and not synthesised. I just don't see how the police think there isn't a kid involved. But anyways yes, innocent until proven guilty, and he has my trust until there is cold hard evidence that he is guilty. I just seriously doubt it because of the dealings he's been in that have gone perfectly fine. If he was truly a scammer he would have kept his money and kept the materials I sent him, he also would have snatched the swap box that has hundreds of dollars of materials in it and not sent it on. Appropriate actions will be taken by those who need make them. If Tony did the things he's accused of, I hope he realizes that the punishment/consequences now are A LOT more lenient than they would be if he was an adult. It's better to learn this lesson as a child. I wish all of you the best of luck in all you do. Oh...I had a private message from one of your members here asking if I have any scraps to give them for tying flies...I do...but my ornery husband & all his buddies have called DIBS on them for THEIR flies!!
