ibian 0 Report post Posted August 14, 2009 Pike Swap I am hosting a Pike streamer swap, for the first 8 tyers with "I'm in". Tie any BIG streamer that you like for trophy Northern Pike. Wooly Bully, Pike Zonker, E.P. Baitfish etc. You know these won't fit in an altoids tin. Hook size recommendation from size 1 to 4/0. Due date Oct 2, 2009. PS. I am in Ontario, Canada. US funds for return postage accepted or send a few extra flies and I'll take care of the postage if all the flies can fit in an Altoids tin. Thanks, Ian 1. ibian 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2009 Whistlers work on Pike? I was fishing a whistler (for the fun of it) this weekend and the pike loved it. I find if it's big fat and you keep it moving pike will hit anything.

Guest rich mc Report post Posted August 18, 2009 rich mc is in . im a sucker for big streamers and i have a box of ec 413 in size 1/0. i am about 2hrs west of chicago ill. advise on postage . rich
ibian 0 Report post Posted August 18, 2009 rich mc welcome :headbang:. As far as postage goes we have a slot size; I know a slot size and it's not a fish. If the pakage going back is no higher than an altoids tin and no wider than a vhs tape (approx) then postage would be $2.50 CDN if it does not fit through the slot then the price jumps to $7.50 CDN. I'll find the exact dimension for people before the flies start to get shipped out. Ian
ibian 0 Report post Posted August 19, 2009 Just a quick edit was done; Swap is now half full, now limited to 8 tyers. If your worried about the return postage it ok to send extra flies in return for postage. If your not sure just PM me if you have any questions. Lets fill it up.
