Spring Bluegill Swap

Recommended Posts

This swap is for 20 swappers. Due date is April 15; something to look forward to instead of dreading tax day. Any BLUEGILL pattern you want to tie. First 20 swappers to sign up are automatically in. If we have others who want to join after 20, they will be on the "Replacement List" in the order that they sign up, in case there are drop outs. Tie 20 flies, and you will get one of your own back. Be SURE to insclude a self-addressed, STAMPED envelope. When you sign up, give me the pattern you will be tying if you know. Otherwise TBD is fine. Be prepared that I may ask you for a materials list if I see something that REALLY strikes my fancy. Looking forward to a great swap!

Jeremy, you are more than welcome to tie all three patterns if you would like. However, the other swappers will be tying only one pattern, so you will only get one pattern from each of the other swappers. I'm sure the other swappers would GREATLY appreciate having all 3 patterns. Let me know if you still want to do this.

Hi BB, Looks like the old tying bug has bit pretty hard. Glad to see you back. I'll be tying a firefly, or as us "Hoosiers" call it, a lightning bug. It's produced well for me lately.

We call 'em "Lightning Bugs" down South, too. I'm going to put a tail on the pattern I sent you the other day, and will probably tie in on a size 12 hook w/ a smaller bead. May make some other changes to the pattern as well.

Take care

I'm sure it will be 1st class, whatever you tie.

Another bluegill swap?? Okay, you talked me into it! But like Mickola, I'll have to count hooks, etc., before I call the pattern. So I'm in with that famous TBA fly!

ColonelMel & Nealbo, you're both in, TBD. Let me know when you decide so maybe we won't have too many duplicates. Nealbo, it's good to have you in another of my swaps.

Take care

BB
