FishAholic85 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2010 There are lots of easy ties out there for pike, it also helps that most times pike will eat just about anything. A friend of mine has some really nice easy patterns, here is on of them. if you want some weight just add some dumb bell eyes and your good to go. Another great place to find some very cool ties is here: http://pikeflyfishingarticles.blogspot.com/ cheers, FA85
canotstop24 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2010 The easiest tie I have seen used for pike is a simple rabbit hair leech tied about 6 inches long.
Val Schmaus 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2010 Clouser minnows are good and easy to tie.

Druce 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2010 I second the rabbit hair leech, just 1 strip tied down befor the bend, than rapped up the shank and tied off at the eye. White or green would rock, plus you can tie off the strip sooner than the hook eye and rap a red strip on to finish, often instead of tying off and starting a new strip for the front i use a dubbing loop and use long marabou than brush it out as i rap so its long and moves nice in the water, mabey glue in some epoxy eyes, if it needs to be weighted i just add lead raps on the shank befor i tie the hook....does that all make sense? sorry no pics, im at work.. yeah thats right hahahaha. If you need some good examples pm me and ill try and post a few pics your way. Druce
