What are your favorite type of flys to tie?

I love to tie nymphs. Copper johns, rubber leg nymphs, and biot body nymphs. I don't tie or fish as many dries, but I do enjoy tying thorax duns, comparaduns and elk hair caddis patterns.

I love to tie both traditional Catskill style flies and old world wingless wets, also know as soft hackles.

streamers! i like small ones on size 10 hooks, some times i make gills behind the eyes with blended red felt, the smallest things make a big change... :thumbup:

My favorite flies to tie are midges, midges, and even more midges.

They usually are fishable anywhere. They are a really simple and easy tie.

That's why I like my midges.

I really like tying anything that challenges me. A lot of 22 and 24 drys or complicated new patterns.

Most of my fishing is warmwater, lots of streamers and some terrestrials for the panfish, but I love to tie topwaters for bass. Poppers, sliders, and a tweener style I'd call "wake flies" are what I really like to tie.
