mikechell 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2016 Retro ... you need to do two things: 1) Store your materials better, so they don't smell like "carcass", and 2) Swat that fly that's sitting on your vise. (Obviously drawn to the smell of "carcass") Oh, wait !!! You tied that !?!?!? Well done !!!
TheCream 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2016 Crappy cell phone pic but it's all I had time for last night. Sort of a shotglass-esque soft hackle idea. Very simple recipe. Biot, herl, translucent yellow bead, partridge. Hope to fish this bug in TN in a few weeks when the sulphurs are coming off.

elusive.fishing 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2016 Tied up a variation of McTages Trouser worm, I call it the Hot Tip Trouser Worm. Yeah, I know what that sounds like. May or may not have been purposeful. More carp snacks for the weekend. This is a variation of FlyFishFood's new Bugle Buddy.
Moshup 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2016 Nice flies all ! There are so many nice ties on here I'm reluctant to mention one's flies in particular because they are mostly all great and I would not want to exclude someone's fine efforts. Really could use a functioning "Like" option on the site. Nice ties Flytire etc etc etc.. Love that soft hackle Cream.
flytire 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2016 permissible to strengthen the moose mane by wrapping over crazy glue coated thread or by overcoating with a uv resin
