Good looking fly, Cream. Video is a good tutorial ... a little long during some of the material prep pauses.

 

I think you can take a bow on this one.

This is one of the flies I tied in honor of the Cubs World Series win. Did a few but this one I like the combo and think fish would too. The colors are the red/white/blue of their uniforms, the green herl for the Ivy on the Wrigley Field walls, and the red collar band in honor of the 17 bangers and bystanders killed while the Cubs were winning the last game.

A new experiment for me, am calling it "The Big Tasty".

Found some reinforced silicone sheeting and cut out a curly tail.

Tried it out yesterday, looks delicious.
