WWKimba 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2022 A couple oldies from England for today's 2X2's. Charles Cotton designed these fly patterns in the mid 1600's in England. Cotton was best known as an English poet and formed a friendship with Izzak Walton around 1655 and contributed to Walton's famous The Compleat Angler in its second edition. He was an avid fisher and fly tyer and these are a couple of his more famous patterns. vicrider 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2022 These are a couple of flies from the videos of Deb Parkall. We are having a swap on board of flies designed by women. There's a lot out there but I especially like the new treatment she is giving to the old classic Red Ass Kelso. It definitely make the red tag stand out on her flies. The other is a silver on silver design that should stand out in dull water.
