Well, I have been using it. Works good! But I haven't fished any flies that I have used it on to see if of it's durability?

    Elmer's

Has anyone ever used Elmer's, Goes on Purple, Dries Clear glue sticks? The wife picked Up a couple of the bigger lip gloss style tubes, for $.25 ea.. It pretty sticky as dubbin wax. I just am not sure how well it will work for the long haul? Any input would be great!
  3. WWKimba , I have been a member for a while, but not really sure how to PM?
  4. I use to make furled leaders that I would use "closed jump rings" I purchased from: https://www.firemountaingems.com They are sterling silver. Come on different sizes. I have passed out my leaders to family and friends to use and I do not believe anyone had problems (broken rings). And I got 50 ea. For under $10.00.
  5. Here's a article from Jason klass, https://www.tenkaratalk.com/2023/01/wader-repair-guarantees-a-cautionary-tale/
  6. Will my AARP card get me a discount on that? Lol
  7. Thanks so much for your reply! I have for years watched Youtube video's. Have tied hundreds of flies. But when I am done. It usually doesn't look like the one in the picture! And in the video's, they make it look so easy! Well its a good thing that for a fly to sell. It only has to look good the a fly fisherman, and not the fish!
  8. I am looking for a fly tier in the Mt. Pleasant area together to show a new tier the ropes?
  9. That's exactly what I was looking for. Are those life size? Anyway to get all size, or a way to size them by ratio foe hook size?

  10. I have been looking for terrestrial bug profiles to cut out foam bodies to tye flies. Like ants, beetles, grasshoppers and etc. In different sizes. I know you dont need patterns for a lot of them, but I am pretty anal for doing it right. If anyone has these in life sizes, please let me know. Thanks!
