Poopdeck 0 Report post Posted July 16, 2023 Thanks guys. There sure were some challenges and a few recycled hooks. The 2 extra length hook helped and I found that cutting the first clump down as short as you can and still hold it helped with spinning under the hook point. First fly red worm- Hook-, Mustad 3366 size 10, red ultra-Chennelle snelled to the hook, drop of super glue to keep it in place. Second fly a little more classic Pheasent & Green Soft Hackle-, hook- Mustad 3906, thread green silk (YLI # 100), body- thread with a pheasant body feather collar.
