essequamvideri 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2016 My favorite jig nymph for the next couple of months. Pulls multi duty as small stonefly or green drake nymph. Who knows what trout think it is but it's been my top producing general searching guide fly for the past month. These are amazing. I can see how they would be a great searching pattern. I also looked at you site. Great ideas. Any chance you would be willing to cough up the receipt for this fly? Thanks Michael

Crackaig 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2016 Only tied 2 patterns this month. Double Badger (of course) is one the other a version of Philip White's Active Mayfly. The original had a wing of summer duck, but the customer wanted deer hair dyed yellow. Of course I've tied them more than once, these are just the ones from the back end of this week. Two dozen Double Badgers and six dozen Active Mayflies. Now back to the vice to tie more of the same. Cheers, C.
