Looks like the crest could use some more time in the dye bath.

 

 

hook - Dai Riki 075 #8

thread - Danville 6/0 black

tail - dyed red golden pheasant crest over tippet (1 Tbs Rit Scarlet/1 cup water)

rib - oval tinsel gold

body - dubbing black

body hackle - hen black (front 1/3)

collar - hen badger

Flytire I think your salmon flys are improving, I'm not really even sure how, they just look neater and more graceful imo.
