fishingbobnelson 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2021 As a Swapmeister I find the use of small plastic zip lock bags to be a problem when resending flies. Not everyone sends their flies in the same size or shape box. I get big ones, round ones, ones with dividers and sometimes the flies in bags don't fit. If I have to scrunch up the bag to get it in the box, it sort of defeats the purpose. I think having the recipe on the toe tag is nice, but they take a lot of space, especially when inside a little baggie. If you want to share the pattern information, it could be posted on the topic thread at the end of the swap.

WWKimba 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2021 They do create a little extra work for us Swapmeisters. I just remove the flies and send them and keep the bags for my special mixes of dubbing. When life gives you lemons... Kim
