Yes I like the green drake tutorial.

I like the comment to use a caddis larva under a pupa.

Scott, that is of course beautiful but I ask does it float, what does it imitate? Sulphur Drake? I saw your post in Spey Pages 5 years ago where you posted a nice tutorial and I've wondered if you've made any important changes since then. Anyway you got our attn.

Thanks,

This fly doesn’t imitate anything, it’s just an attractor; I’ve had very good luck with orange patterns for cutts in Montana.  The foam bodies float very well, and the additional trimmed pronghorn thorax adds a little more buoyancy. I haven’t changed much of anything in terms of the basic Carnage body construction; just playing around with different ways to finish off the front end.

Regards,
Scott

I don't have any elk hair but have exclusively used deer hair for the EHC. Antelope hair is hollow and makes an excellent dry fly.

Skeet, Then I'm in good shape. This is an important fly to me and its nice to know that I can have some flexibility in choice of materials.

Scraggly Chuck Caddis! That came out nicely Niveker.

C_T that is an awful nice Crayfish😉 I see allot of Bass hitting that.

Sandan, These look nice, I do have some puffs ordered. I assume these would be pretty handy July 1st in the Ashton area, Henry's Fork? I'll be there for a week.

You use the feather not a puff for this one. Puffs make good wing cases though. July 10-17, Island Park. We'll def fish the fork. Also up in the park the madison, firehole if it isn't too hot, Slough Creek, Soda Butte creek and probably the Gallatin.
