Sage Xi2 are very nice I have all of them 6-9wts. I love them. They really have alot of lifting power and the punch to put a big fly into the wind. Oh yeah and the scotts aren't bad either.

Hey dafack check out customsaltwaterflies.com they are by dan johnson. They are excellent quality and may also give you some pattern ideas to mess with. As far as the SA line that should do you for now I think.

Hey bowfin I 100% agree. I have had tremendous luck with gold epoxy spoon flies. Not only do they catch reds but almost everything else too.

Maybe you could shorten up the leg hackles a little bit. But other than that it looks good to me.

Yeah I feel your pain. I drive a silverado 2500HD and I get like 10 miles per gallon. I spend about 10.00 a day in gas. I'm trading this bastard in next week though and getting a smaller ford f-150 or I also like the toyota FJ. Any body know what kind of gas mileage the FJ gets.

What's up Lou. I was born in tampa. I might have some info on some spots for you. How long have you lived there? I recently lived on the east coast around the mosquito lagoon. So I'm very familiar with saltwater fly fishing. I now live in missouri though and have taken up the trout thing. I love it almost as much. Lots of intricacies in trout fishing.

How do you hook a fish on those and still catch it! Also how and when do you fish them? That is absolutely amazing and now thanks alot I have to try it. :devil: I'm pretty proficient at sizes down to 22.
