  1. Hi I have bin giving tying lessons to some new tiers and I have bin supplying the vices!! I am now looking for some Farly good vices for them to learn on. any suggestions on the vices that would work the best i would really appreciate it. Thanks Tyrite (Glen Dayton)

  3. This is a great question I Ty a great number of flies and I always try to Ty 12-24 of each!! Some of the flies like woolly buggers take 11/5- 2 minutes. some wet flies take about 5-7 minutes. big deer hair bass bugs take 5-15 minutes. I am just getting into salmon flies so I bought the book building classic salmon flies. so for the hair wings and some small types like that it takes 7-20 minutes. next will be fully dressed flies!   10. Welcome to the Forum! Yes it is cold here I live in Belleville Ontario and The ice is Now frozen but the Fly line wont go through it. Thank goodness for ice fishing. tyrite Glen Datyon

  13. Hi I am 31 years old and 7 years ago my spine whent in a work accident so I am on a disability!! But out of the accident I found fly tying and now I sell flies to stores in my area and tying lessons at the SOS fly club in Belleville!!! I am a stay at home dad were I have 3 girls I look after and well my wife works looking after kids! tyrite (glen Dayton)
