  1. Puting the fiber into the loop Positioning the fibers prior to spining, note aprox 2/3 of fiber is on one side of loop, this allows the loop to be more of a hackel After spinning the loop i take a brush and brush the longer fibers on one side of the loop wound on hook Brett, is this series of pic what your trying to do? I hope this was some help.

    Eminent domain

It seems to me that all emminent domaine is being used for anymore is have the gov (of bought politicans) forceing you to sell your poperty to their friends at a price that they feel like paying, and not a price set by the owner of the property. Its one thing to use the property for a true public work( a road), but prostituting the law for corporate benifit is just wrong. But as long as the business can bribe the politicans, and call it a campain contribution, i see no hope for the little man. Thats my rant and im stickin to it.

  14. When fishing large zonkers, where i have left the rabbit strip long, it seen as if the strip always half hitches itself arround the bend of the hook. It seems like i spend more time unfouling the fly that fishing it. Is there something i can use when tying the fly to minimize this, that will not ruin the action of the zonker strip or the fly?

  17. Do you think i got a chance? After all , it is a dry fly.
  18. Will Fly patterns are constantly evolving. New materials are being used , replacing old ones. In effect, there is no wrong way to tie a pattern. Even among the diffrent pattern books i have there are variations . Some were designed for english chalk streams, some for the rockies, and some for the east coast. Not to hention the loacl killer patterns. In a recent article written by A K Best, he estimates that there are over 4000 ways to tie an adams dry fly. All i can suggest is tie it how you want to and hope the pattern police dont jump out of the shrubbery to arrest you when you use it.
  19. Cool, im gonna try some Dahalberg Divers. It will probably end up looking like Salvador Dali - berg diver.
  20. I got em mailed out today, should be there soon.
  21. How do you tie on the quarter? and Do the carp give change? The made me do it.
  22. Would spun deer hair be ok? I can use a beard trimmer if you insist that power tools be involved.
  23. My favorite hatch would have to be the sulpher hatch , on Oil creek in nw pa, for two reasons. 1st its a very heavy hatch that lasts for about 3weeks, and 2ed it occurs at tha magical time of the year that the trout seem to be active and feeding from sunup to sundown. Even thougt the emergence and spinner fall occure in the evening, you can catch em with the same fly all day. I think on oil creek there are two diffrent bugs that hatch , one larger than the other, but since they happen back to back , the hatch gets merged into one big sulpher hatch. its just later in the month smaller flies seem to work better.
  24. I recently bought a fujifilm s3100 at walmart for 250. it has a macro mode and a 6x optical zoom, and fairly idiot proof because i aint broke it yet. But it isnt waterproof and it is a little on the big side,im happy with it but i aint no pro either. It has a 3x ditial zoom too.
