  1. ... and I meant to add: I'll happily photograph all the flies if people would like Not at all Dave and yes that would be very nice
  2. Thank you for inviting me Dave! I'm in, and my contribute to the swap will be a black flymph. Question: what amount of time may we have at our disposal? I'd prefer at least a month, preferrably two so there won't be any stress. I will think of who to invite next.. /Gustav, from Sweden
  3. Who are you asking? you...I think i have those exact hooks.... (: Well it's different kinds of hooks. Most of them are Mustad R50 and TMC 3769 #10-12, so no streamerhooks. The killer bug imitates a scud, hence my range of sizes.
  4. Congratulations to your new exotic species
  5. I agree on that, it's one of the things I like most about flyfishing
  6. Glad you like it! It's funny, there are after all even younger people than me on the website. Enthusiastic flytiers comes in all ages.
  7. Thanks guys. Hans photographs are great indeed.
  8. It's me http://www.danica.com/flytier/gfroleen/gfroleen.htm Many thanks to Hans Weilenmann for giving me a profile at the site, his fly-photographs are booming stuff! The flies are quite representative to my fly tying. Sawyernymphs, CDC-flies, soft hackles, parachutes and some other stuff. /Gustav
  9. lol i sense great envy Looks like a sweet vise indeed, but I'm happy with what I got anyway. Remember that wasn't for free, Ridderbos paid for it with his hard earned money.
  10. Here is the second fly tying video made by my friend Jonatan and me. The MP-52 is a great fly for caddis hatches, but also as a searching pattern. Hope you like it! /Gustav Fröléen
  11. Ok, cool hook though. Mustad was very inventive back in the days..
  12. I like the flies! But that hook you tied the ant on really caught my attention, what brand and model is it? Looks like one of those semibarbed hooks. /G
  13. Thanks alot guys! Yes Gustav I was able to get pretty close. It had fallen in the water and I took several pictures of him as he dried off Here's another: http://i709.photobucket.com/albums/ww91/Ou...yforTakeOff.jpg He got to dry, you got to photograph him. Win win situation
  14. Haka nymph (Hans Weilenmann pattern) /Gustav
