Got the October flies in today, really nice set of flies. Thanks to BB for getting these out in a timely manner.

Got both boxes in, one yesterday and one today. Waited quite a while for them, but lots of nice flies made the wait worthwhile.

Instead of a pheasant tail nymph, I am going to do a turkey tail nymph.

I've been saving the "cotton" out of pill bottles for the birds, now I can add other stuff to it. Thanks for the idea, fishingbobnelson.

BB, keep my extra also, that way you can fish one and keep one if you want. Sort of like eating your cake and keeping it too.

Got mine off yesterday.

Doing some mini foam poppers for this month, The bodies are punched out of layered craft foam wiht a paper punch. Works pretty well.

Bryon, got my flies off today, they are supposed to be there Monday, so enjoy the weekend.

BB, I am still in the swap. What has happened this swap? I am kind of confused about the postings for September swap in the August post, and now the August post asking if we are still having a swap? Sorry, just read the other post, and now have an idea of what is going on.

I have caught some fiddlers while using a black cricket for bluegill.

Contacted J-Kno some time ago, and we decided I should tie a caddis pattern, so I did a tinsel caddis, since it has my favorite qualities in a fly: simple to tie, easily obtained materials and catches fish. Sent them off this afternoon.

Mine showed up today, also. Thind the pan fish around here will get them all messed up pretty shortly. Thanks for all the nice flies and thanks to BB for a great swap.

Luckily, I'm quite near sighted, so I can see these tiny things all right, if I take off my glasses, The problem I have with tying them is my 3XL hands and fat fingers. These are great looking flies. Thanks to everyone.

Think I will get in on this one, with an extremely small spider pattern, During the summer I see a lot of spiders "ballooning" across the lakes, and have to think they will get into the water and get bit by fish.
