Imagine hanging out in your nice warm pond with all of your buds,chillin and munching on some bugs, when all of a sudden, you spot a green morsel you cant resist. You hurry over to get it before your buds get it, then...You are AIRBORNE and sailing out of the water, through the air and onto a green leafy,dry terrain. Then, this HUGE hulking creature grabs you by your lips,then throws you back into your pond! What a day!!! I'm not so hungry anymore!!!

The vet that tends to our horses is a Equine reproductive specialist. We go over to her place whenever she has babies dropping, which is every couple of days this time of year. There was one foal a couple of years ago that was the cutest lil guy either of us had seen and he had TONS of personality. He got named "Chick Magnet".

HOLY CRAP..My package MOVED. It went from Mi to Illinois. So the package went south and WEST to go East..Go figure. Steve, that package had been sitting in MI for over a week now. The PO is SO efficient..ha ha. At least it moving now.

Bob, Funny you should post about recycling flies on the day that you did. Tuesday was the day that I cleaned up my tying bench last week. I tie for a week,then clean the bench up. I usually have scraps of chenille,feathers,foam, etc. Several years back, I started taking these materials and doing what I call trash ties. I take all of the flies that have gotten trashed over the course of a few months and make new flies out of them with the scraps from my bench. They are seldom a specific pattern, mostly just what I can wrap on a fly to make it buggy looking enough to catch a Bream or Bass. All of the flies in this photo were recycled from scraps off of my bench. These flies are on #8-#12 hooks except for the one with the long Ice chenille tail.

If that is the wait I'm looking at, I should have my rod, around.....Christmas

A Moccasins head, especially a large one looks like a flat iron. If you've ever seen one, they not easily mistaken 😳 Also, a venomous snake has slit for eyes as opposed to rounded pupils

Any fishing, especially the kind done coming home from work, is good fishing!!

A Water Moccasin, in my experience, is a stand it's ground type snake. If it retreated, with no show of aggression, It was most likely a Banded water snake. Mike is right. I didnt get enough view of the actual fish,other than to say it was a Sunfish and or a Bass.
