  1. I NEVER met a bad pop'n'bug
  2. Excellent! I think I'll fix a couple of rubber legs in the body, maybe a weedless loop of mono? I can see that sucker sliding through those lilly pads now!!! Nice tie!
  3. Several come to mind, but my favorite is ACDSee. You'll have to buy it, but it is the easiest to work with for simple picture operations. You won't be able to "stitch" photos together unless you buy the plug-in for it, and things like that. The plug-ins are worth it, and the software is pretty resonably priced, in my opinion... I think you can snag a demo copy. http://www.acdsystems.com/English/Products/ACDSee/index.htm
  4. It's beautiful... too bad there's no storage, huh! I have a tear in my eye.... lovely, just lovely! great job!
  5. Nice, I like the low profile, and the red adds a bit of "interest"... I'd like to run that past a couple smallies too!
  6. Hey Sketch!!! Nice grayling... I've always wanted to catch one after seeing Gadabout Gaddis ("The Flying Fisherman") catch them 30 some odd years ago... Mind if I use your picture on the web? (I can put your copyright on it). great photo!
  7. Regrets??? Heck NO!! I have a bunch of stuff that I have purchased, but haven't even touched since bringing it home!! (I also have used a LOT of that junk, some was good, some wasn't!) I'm a sucker for the clearance rack or the $1.00 bargin bin. If something looks interesting, and is CHEAP, I'll take at least one! I really love those end of season and winter sales, especially the Orvis warehouse sale! I can't afford the rods, but they usually have an interesting selection of tying materials! Hey! You never know when you'll need something or you'll get creative!! More toys/materials is a good thing... (Tell Martha!)
  8. Fly1... Neat streamers... gotta try that some time You could almost create your own school of baitfish! but what's that funny looking coin next to them? (Seriously, nice streamers!)
  9. Well, I'm pretty normal , but I wonder about some of you others! Then again, I pretty much like hanging around here anyway.... what does that tell ya ???
  10. really purty!!! I like'm!! That reminds me that I need to dig out that air brushing kit I got the kids about 10 years ago!!! Nice job!
  11. a walther .380 4 empty coffee cups (they were 1/4 full a week or so ago) a 12" replica of R2D2, full of "miscellaneous flys"
  12. I just tried the RiverSmallies page, and connected!!! The site is up, but no forums yet...
  13. I've never made any of those mistakes! Well, not more than maybe a 1000 times???? How about trying to open a bottle of head cement, and having it dump into your lap... in shorts... on the dining room chair.... and your wife walks by at that exact moment... You can hardly notice the scars anymore
  14. It must be a Major Cottonpickin' Fly from Italy!! Fraa-geee-lay.... Merry Christmas, I couldn't resist!
