flytire replied to Fisherboy0301's topic in The Fly Tying Bench
my worst flies are in a tree somewhere on the south platte river in colorado and were placed there by some of the most erratic casting by a newbie to fly fishing. sorry but i'm not going back to find them! -
The Spinning Attachment is an accessory that allows the tyer to rotate the vise with the palm of his/her hands. i have never seen it until now. @ $35 i dont think i'd buy it for my style of tying. i dont need to speed tie

"How many of you guys would be interested in an app where you select the materials you currently own from perhaps an assortment of expandable charts and then you could see what flies you were able to tie?" if you take for example one material such as peacock herl, wouldn't your app have to contain a massive amount of flies containing peacock herl? just doing a GOOGLE search for "flies using peacock herl" come up with a massive amount of flies. viewing an app on a smartphone is just way too small for me. I would rather GOOGLE fly patterns and view them on a 22 inch monitor rather than a smartphone screen

flytire replied to Chromez's topic in Fly Fishing Gear & Techniques
