  4. the value inside the catalog far outweighs the choice of fly selected for the cover. whoever gets their own catalog then they can choose whatever fly they want.

  10. i also have the super flat cat. i have inflated it only once since i bought it last year and that was in the yard testing out a new inflator. i know thats no help but thats my summary so far.

  12. i would say the nymphs you "must have" are the nymphs you have in the waters that you fish. hatch charts should be helpful
  13. has anybody seen this type of stand in catalogs i know they are available in the UK but i dont want to pay a premium due to currency exchange i dont want the alligator type i dont want the chain type so have you seen one

  15. the solvents in one product is working against the solvents in the other product and thats probably whats causing it to run. sharpie has a product that is a water based paint marker. maybe that would be best suited for what you are trying to do. http://www.sharpie.com/enUS/Pages/water-based-paint-marker.aspx?gclid=CKiHj6j2va4CFecQNAodelEGPw i use acrylic paints from michaels craft store and after i'm done painting them, i overcoat with a uv cured resin. no waiting for epoxy to dry, no need for a drying wheel, no mixing uneven amounts of resin or hardener etc. some results
  16. I agree with owl on this one. Tight wraps equals flared hair Deer hair and other like hairs are chambered (cells) vs hollow (like a straw)
