I agree with Bruce...very nice.

Regarding the wing feathers matching...the truly best way for that to happen is when the feathers come from the same bird.

but what is the probability of that ever happening with hareline or wapsi packaged feathers 😢

i'm happy if there is a close enough left and right feather in a package 😁

i dont hunt ducks or know of hunters that do

I know the frustration about this. Back in my hunting days an old friend and I would do "cast & blast" days. Jump shoot ducks in the early morning and then fly fish the stream after any birds were cleaned and put in a cooler. The creek we frequented here in southeastern PA was always good for a wood duck or 2. As a fly tyer and fly fisherman it was just a small piece of paradise...to say the least.
