Steeldrifter 0 Report post Posted January 26 Some pics of a project I had been working on late at night between rod work and other projects I have been doing. Took a couple weeks to do because I was only able to do 30mins here and 30mins there on it. Nephew & Brother in law bought me a 1940 Ford model back at Christmas and with my OCD I couldn't just build the model. Had to make a whole "backyard mechanic" scene with it. Everything is hand made. Fence is Popsicle sticks, tree is a stick I drilled and glued other twigs into to form the tree then used airbrushed cotton with flocking applied to make the leaves. Ground is corn cob media airbrushed to various shades. All the other stuff like the engine hoist, bottles, 55g drum, Route 66 sign are all 3D printed then painted and weathered. Came out pretty neat. Will put this up in the theater room with my other things I display up there.
