that fly will flip over the way you have the bead chain tied in, might want to tie the tail in the other way (flipped) so it rides with hair up when fished

Had to stack the caribou; couldn't get the natural curve like Harry Lemire's version. Also, went with the peacock since I'm fresh out of musk ox.

body - peacock herl
hackle - grizzly hen

Thread: White
Under body: Lead Wire
Tail And Back: Buck tail (Brown, black, green etc)
Over body: Silver mylar braid piping
Eyes: Black under yellow
Overcoat: UV Resin

I'm not too sure I agree with this. Bead chain eyes are extremely light, there's deer hair on there to add buoyancy, and the heavy hook with an upturned eye...I'd have to see it in the water to know for sure. If they were lead/brass eyes, I'd probably tie them on the bottom of the shank. Bead chain, with everything else going on, might not matter.
