add147 0 Report post Posted September 4, 2016 I am glad that everyone is beginning to get their flies! I have been out of pocket these past several days since I was on my annual dove hunting trip. The Chinese Dragon fly that I tied please let me know how it does in the water. If anyone catches something from this swap by all mean post a picture of your fish and the fly. caloosa bug 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2016 Went to a small canal this morning with the swap flies. The canal doesn't hold much and I'm sure all these would be awesome on Okeechobee. Mandog scored the first largemouth of the bunch. Crackleback's diver had a couple small bass trying their hardest to devour it. Missed a small bass and a tilapia on Vicente's articulating fly. Missed a couple cichlids and a small bass on the Chinese Dragon. Carpfly's mouse had several nibbles with no takers. Bentwing's stealth bomber had a quick hookup in a nice shellcracker and I moved on to another fly. Dorado's fly landed a nice Mayan cichlid. Jjs89's popper fooled a nice bluegill. I'm eager to get out on some bigger water. Today's little getaway was only for a couple hours but I sure had fun throwing yalls flies. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
