Still trying to build back up all my stolen warm water flies.

I know these aren't up to the standards around here and I just confirmed I can't see anymore. I can't tell if the thread is flat or twisted and you can't tie a decent fly if you can't tell that. What looks good to me in the vise looks like crap under the cameras eye.

Anyways some the 1st beaded flies I've ever tied...I tie generically and don't follow patterns or recipes.
Never understood the fascination with bead/cone headed flies but thought I'd give them a try. I always just wrapped some lead around the hook.

I just call these Bream Bugs.

Adam I love that frog, if you ever want to get one tested on American waters let me know.

 

Nice job on those thunder Creek streamers Mike.

Dflanagan you should give them a try they are pretty hard to get the heads right, something so simple but a pain to do.
