Swap fly caught fish pictures,

Recommended Posts

Wow cool! Im jealous I want to catch some of those.

Thats a killer little streamer pattern Huh

I catch all kinds of fish on that.

Thanks for posting

Edit: I have another really productive streamer that Ive been fishing for 20+ years, its my go to search fly that you need to try. Its basically a dolled up Muddler Minnow but catches any thing that swims and has a nice side to side action. Sometime in the near future Ill tie a couple up and send you some.

Here's one from today. From the popper swap a couple of years ago. Can't remember who tied it. Fish is a sooty grunter.

Caught my 3rd and personal best snook on fly today! Came from a swap member, can't remember off the top of my head who it was, but here's a picture of the fly, and the fish, that did the shop today!

If you tied this fly, come forward and take full credit!! My flies weren't working lol.

Flats..congrats on your PB Snook, very pretty fish.

Looks like my Scaled Sardine design from the Snook Flies Swap that Islander hosted.

Glad it worked for you.

Attached is SBS: http://www.flytyingforum.com/index.php?showtopic=85959&hl=%2Bscaled+%2Bsardine

The best all around bait for Snook would be the scaled sardine.

I don't know whether the mop piece swap counts but here's a couple of pictures of fish I caught on a fly tied from one of the mop pieces. These were caught back at the end of May.
