  1. I stopped going to the marlboro show, i miss the show that they used to have at the shriners hall in wilmington. I will hopefully make the bears den show instead.
  2. I use one size right now Its enamelled copper size 30 or 36 ga. Never needed anything heavier. If you can find an electric motor repair shop local they may sell enamelled wire cheap. It cant hurt to look.
  3. I have had my hmh tool forever, back when it was Kennebec River Bait and Tackle. Not done many over the years but may throw it in the vise. I have access to soft tubing to tie on. Your tubes all look great
  4. I like the silver lined beads it gives them an added glow.
  5. I use my norvise to make dubbing brushes, the standard table that norm sells is kind of short, but does work well. I hope to make a longer bench.
  6. Its great stuff, reasonably priced and he creates some truely unique dubbing too. Keep an eye out for closeouts and sale items. Its a way to get years worth of materials for short money His videos are great too!
  7. I have bought from krosch, lots of nice stuff. Its not whiting but i dont tie drys. A good value, and its domestic.
  8. Mike beat me to the punch. Great stuff.
  9. Its kind of a slumpbuster crossed with a wooly bugger! I like it.
  10. Saw this video today, great tie. Love the technique of splitting the extra and folding it down the side. Builds profile without bulk. Definitely tying up some.
  11. That yellow is discontinued per the company website. If you see it buy it. They replaced the yellow with chartreuse, not sure if that's a good thing or not.
  12. I love their materials. Like stated above I only use a fraction of the materials he uses, but I do say they work well. I love the prices on flash and his Congo hair which is very similar to ep fibers.v.
  13. You may get dozens of replies. But if you watch the nor-vise videos on youtube, norm recommends 36 gauge copper wires for his brushes. You could try 36 ga stainless for salt water.
  14. You can also try bills bodi braid too, i found it more durable than krenik. http://www.e-zbody.com/#2595
  15. If you send them a fb message i would suspect they will answer quicker.
  16. You could always put a light coat of super glue on the flash before you pull it down and tie it off.
  17. Its 14 here this am, after having 75deg last week its still winter here.
  18. I remember seeing them advertised in fly tyer and a couple of other magazines starting around 475 gbp which was about 600-700 usd then. Considering the amount of work Mr Waldron put into them you could expect 1500$ as a starting point today for new ones. Perhaps more, but i could never see myself paying that. I am very interested in the hmh though.
  19. That stuff looks great. And cheaper than ep fibers.
  20. I spoke to the guys at HMH they said they will make the riser stem to whatever length you would like.
  21. I bet you can get a c clamp version with a long stem. Use your own pedistal, height issue solved
  22. I saw a pic but i thought it was a joke. If its real i am interested
  23. Dont retire it, use it for lead or wire.
  24. Cae engineering was advertising a law clone for a while, not sure if the pro vise is from the same guy or another mfg. 1175gbp is quite a lot for a clone,
