Moth balls

Recommended Posts

Saw a small moth in my fly tying room.  I killed the little bastard, but that fact indicated he could be an offspring.  Didn't see mama, and hope she isn't there.  I loaded up with moth balls and while my feathers smell like an old lady's trunk, at least the feathers are hopefully safe.

Me too.  Good luck.

I'll confess, that I don't find the smell altogether unpleasant.

FWIW.    Great for rat protection!  I put it in my rolled up burlap/Ghille boat blind, Finisher layout blind w/neo tub, Cerex cloth/decoy bags   Even threw them up into the areas in my CainCutter bass boat.  Keeps them from chewing holes and electrical wires.  Fine out in the polebarn but wouldn’t stand the smell in my Mancave.  Lil shot of bug spray in feather bags for that.  New and harvested feathers, necks.

I think I have the same ones as Norm in a different scent. Notice it says "No clinging odor". They are definately not odor free.
