Wife was looking over my shoulder, Dubs. She says your dries are "Blingy" ... and we both like them.

If they are "wife approved" they must be pretty good! Thanks, hope your not jealous she liked looking at my fly

I love this! Love the clipped deer hair at the head for extra buoyancy--should help it to land upright on the water, too. I'm adding this to my caddis box for sure.

My first go with wool heads. Needs some improvement. This is an articulated pattern.

 

i like this pattern a lot. olive ram's wool is near the top of my next shopping list.

I did these for a swap on another board. It's a 26 parachute and a 32 black midge/white hackle.

Some hydropsychidae caddis larva nymphs. I found a dog toy in the river that had a bunch on it and I decided to tie up a few patterns.

The first one I tied I did a peacock herl body and didn't like it so I went to a olive green slf dubbing.

There's the muddler. Last attempt at learning hair spinning until later this summer. Guests here for awhile and this hair trimming is a mess in our guest room/fly tying room.

White 6/0 Thread

2 mm White Foam

Pale Yellow CDC Feather

Burnt Mallard Flank Feather Wings

Dun Mayfly Tail plus Mallard Fibers

 

Would like to know what you think ?

 

Both Pictures are of the same Mayfly.
