Bimini15 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2017 Thanks, guys. Yes, all hackle and UV resin, except for a small base of braid on the shank. Petegray is the expert in residence of this stuff. Check his Cape Lookout thread...
mikechell 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2017 Again, I am not into classic patterns. However, SBPatt, that's a pretty fly.
Flat Rock native 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2017 Again, I am not into classic patterns. However, SBPatt, that's a pretty fly. Like excellent music, anything well played is very enjoyable. Even if not your preferred taste. I AM into classic patterns, just do not tie them well, so Scott's posts are greatly appreciated. More is fine in my quarters. Thanks! hankinsfly 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2017 Yes, keep the classics coming, I dig them as well. Excellent work and thanks for sharing. The cool thing of the classics, besides being fun to tie, is they still work after so many decades. What's not to like?

Flat Rock native 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2017 Still on the UV kick. looking good, let us know how they look after a couple fish please! As explained by one of the original masters, these are a "sacrifice to the fish gods" Not always durable, but very light to throw, and big " footprint" underwater. If not on the trophy picture in the den... re-cycle your hook with a quick razor shave after you re-cycle that fish!
