The muskrat was natural. It looks darker in the clump, but when dubbed very sparse it looks really light.

Your dyed colors are brilliant and have encouraged me to dig out my dying materials and give it a shot again. Used to do a lot of it back in the late 90's. Be interesting to see if my old dyes still work.

Took the color scheme from a fly I saw on the Hillend Dabbler site and stretched it out a bit.

hook - WFC Model 6 #10
thread - Danville 6/0 orange 
tag - medium tinsel opal 
tail - yarn Sunburst
rib - small wire gold 
body - hare’s ear dyed yellow (1 Tbs rit Golden Yellow/1 cup water)
body hackle - dark ginger
1st shoulder - golden pheasant body feather red 
2nd shoulder- pheasant rump dyed yellow

tail - golden pheasant crest 
rib - small wire chartreuse
body - hare’s ear dyed yellow (1 Tbs Rit Golden Yellow/1 cup water)
body hackle - furnace
1st shoulder - partridge dyed olive (2 Tsp Rit Golden Yellow, 1/2 Tsp Rit Dark Green/2 cups water)
2nd shoulder - hen furnace
