SD normally I don't really say much to them about the butts. I might crack a little joke or something about it but what gets me is the Soda Bottles and stuff like that. They are freeking Ecology majors they should know better then that.

I normally don't confront people. except my buddies who seem to think it is OK to throw their cigarette butts in the water... funny thing is these two guys are Ecology majors with me and one of them is the biggest litterer I know. I have gotten to the point I don't fish with them anymore because I don't want to be seen with people like that.

The most expensive thing we have bought at the Orvis store in Richmond was line. And why did we buy it there? Because they had a deal where if you spent over $75 you would get a $30 discount or something similar to that. Basicly it paid to buy the line and some tying materials.

Not going to argue there. They do have a 10ft 7wt. at the store I go to that I want... it just feels so beautiful in my hand. I won't get it ever, but that does not mean I don't want it.

Why? because I go to my local fly fishing shop first normally. It is just nice to have something fly fishing related in the mall when I am dragged there. Oh yeh and it is nice to try out the rods on their own artificial stream.

Saving that one for future use.

We just got a new one here in Richmond. It is HUGE! 2 stories and each story is at least 3 times the size of any other Orvis I have been into. I like to go there when I want to dream. Normally I get to go when the G/F and I go shopping, I get 20mins in there for every hour she looks at cloths, she gets my credit card before I walk in and I make her promise that she will not give it to me no matter how much I beg. I do have to admit though I kinda feel like I am about 15 years too young when I walk in, everyone is much older then I am.

Um I bought it at my local fly tying shop called flyfish the world. Dad uses the craft store stuff. I have not run out of the other stuff yet so I have not used it.

I have tied a few KreelKlaws like that, with olive green and light tan. The fish seemed to like them.

I would do it. I just would want to work up to it to know what to expect.

Never have believed that waders will make you sink, but then again I personally don't want to try. But then again in order to try I would have to buy waders I guess, Now I just wear my 5MM wetsuit when I am at the beach in the winter.

Cute. I am kinda in a opposite deal right now. My Dad is learning how to tye, I can't get him to stop tying.

Small dalberg divers. Dad now swears by this streamer called a green hornet, basicly it is a green and white deciever with a red head.

Funny Heck I was going to put something like, have her catch you checking out a blonde when she is a redhead. Might not be my wife but man was I in trouble.

I fished the Rivanna a few weeks ago. It was cold then and no fish were biting.

Yep I think I am done for the year for the most part. Now the flyrod goes away and the spinning rod comes out.

Cool. It breaks a few laws of physics from what I see but still cool.

My box is similar to the peregrin streamside box... except I don't have the nice little vice holder or all the tool holders. This leaves me with more then enough room for all the bucktail that I bring everywhere with me.

I typically for travel use a modified oilpaint box. Since I don't fly it works great, I have room for most all of my materials and it does not take up a ton of space.

Hook up because I like to fish at or near the bottom.
